Siam In Spain

Spain
officially the Kingdom of Spain (Spanish: Reino de España), is a country located in southwestern Europe the Iberian Peninsula. Its mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the northwest and west by the Atlantic Ocean and Portugal. Spanish territory also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the African coast, and two autonomous cities in North Africa, Ceuta and Melilla, that border Morocco. With an area of 504,030 km², Spain is the second largest country in Western Europe and the European Union after France.

Water kingdom
Siam Park opened in 2008 on the Costa Adeje, Tenerife. Dubbed the largest aqua world in Europe, it offers 14 attractions, five eateries and sub-tropical gardens - all based around the theme of Ancient Thailand.

Siam Park's facilities cater for swimmers of all ages and abilities, and there's even a designated area for young children.

Visitors can sit comfortably in a rubber ring and drift along the lazy "Sawasdee River" or get a thrill from one of several adrenalin-pumping attractions.

For the brave-hearted, there's a 28-metre vertical drop on the Tower of Power slide (Torre del Poder) or the pitch-black Jungle Snake slide-tunnels. The Mekong Rapids allow families to enjoy a fast-paced ride on a five-seater raft.

Alongside the artificial beach, the Wave Palace is a great place for surfers, as man-made breakers reach up to three metres tall.

If you're a beginner then Siam Park's on-site surf school gives lessons. There's even a life-guard school, which gives courses on first aid and life-saving techniques.

Determined to impress holidaymakers, Siam Park also offers accommodation in the form of luxury cabanas, islands for private cocktail parties and an amphitheatre.

The water world is part of the Loro Parque Group, who also own the popular zoological gardens of the same name in Puerto de la Cruz.
